Postdoctoral needs analysis for the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation

Postdocs are a central target group of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation's programmes and sponsorship schemes. In order to succeed to provide qualified applicants with tailored and attractive offers in the global competition for the "best young minds" in science, inspire research is supporting the Humboldt Foundation in the development and implementation of a postdoctoral needs analysis. The Humboldt Foundation would like to use the needs analysis to get to know the current generation of academic postdocs more systematically in order to be able to address and close any gaps in the current range of programmes. The results of the needs analysis are incorporated into the Foundation's strategic programme development processes.
